LEAD Rangers scout Robert Clarkson has departed Ibrox to pursue a role with the English FA.
The departure follows the exit of Andy Scoulding, former head of scouting with the Govan club, who departed this summer to join Premier League giants Tottenham.
Clarkson joined the club under former director of football Mark Allen in 2017 and he helped to revamp the scouting infrastructure during his spell with the club.
He helped to bring in talent from north and south of the border that aided Steven Gerrard's side as they landed title number 55.
Clarkson's new position will see him lead the talent ID programme from under-18s up to Gareth Southgate's senior England squad.
