(Overlee Rd & Linwood Ave, Clarkston) (Temporary Restriction to Use of Road) Order 2021
On the 8th October 2021 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access on Overlee Rd & Linwood Ave, Clarkston to facilitate the safe operation of essential carriageway resurfacing works proposed to be carried out on these roads.
The Order authorises the closure of Overlee Rd & Linwood Ave. over their full lengths for the duration of the work which are scheduled to be carried out from Monday 22 November until Friday 3 December 2021.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes
(Phase 1) Linwood Avenue: -Overlee Road - Busby Road -Viaduct Road and vice-versa
(Phase 2) Overlee Road: - Busby Road - Viaduct Road - Linwood Avenue and vice-versa.
