(Carmunnock Road, Busby) Temporary Restriction to Use of Road Order 2022
On the 26 November 2021 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access on a section ?f Carmunnock Road, Busby in order to facilitate utility duct installation works within or near the road, scheduled to be carried from Wednesday 26 January untilTuesday 1 February 2022.
The Order authorises the closure of the road between property No's 23 and 37 or thereby, for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident and essential winter roads maintenance vehicles will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes: Carmunnock Road -(A727) East Kilbride Road - (B766) Carmunnock By-Pass and vice-versa
