(DUNVEGAN DRIVE, NEWTON MEARNS) TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO USE OF ROAD ORDER 2022
On the 26 November 2021 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access on a section of Dunvegan Drive, Newton Mearns in order to facilitate the construction of a new surface water sewer within the road, scheduled to commence on Monday 28 February with completion by Friday 8 April 2022.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the restriction may be permitted during the contractors working hours when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident and essential winter roads maintenance vehicles will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes: Broom Road - Mearns Road - Broompark Drive and vice-versa or Sandringham Avenue - Lochbroom Drive - Broompark Drive and vice-versa.
