(Gordon Crescent, Newton Meams) Temporary Restriction To Use of Road Order 2022

On the 8 April 2022 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the RoadTraffic Regulation Act 1984.The Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access on a section of Gordon Crescent, Newton Mearns in order to facilitate Scottish Power utility works within or near the road, scheduled to be carried from Monday 23 May until Friday 3 June 2022.
The Order authorises the closure of the road between property No 18 and its junction with Chisholm Drive, for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes: Chisholm Drive - Leslie Avenue - Capelrig Road - Fruin Avenue and
vice-versa. And Fruin Avenue - Fraser Avenue - Chisholm Drive and vice-versa
