(A726 Glasgow Southern Orbital, Maidenhill) (Prohibition Of Driving and Pedestrian Access) Order 20(**)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT The East Renfrewshire Council propose to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2 (1) to (3) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 in the interest of Road Safety, as a consequence of the construction of a new Left in Left out (LiLo) junction from the eastbound carriageway of the A726 Glasgow Southern Orbital (GSO) towards Maidenhill and to be consistent with an existing prohibition order on the A726 GSO.

The Order will prohibit pedestrians, cyclists, equestrians, motor cyclists (<50cc) and agriculture traffic from accessing and travelling along sections of the A726 GSO as specified in Schedule 1 of the Order.
A copy of a statement of reason for making the Order, location plan and the draft Order, which forms "The East Renfrewshire Council (A726 Glasgow Southern Orbital, Newton Mearns - Maidenhill Junction) (No Entry) Order 20[**]" can be viewed online in the East Renfrewshire CouncilsTraffic Notices section on the 'Tell Me Scotland' website at the following address:
