The A205 Gla Road (Clifford Avenue And Upper Richmond Road West, London Borough Of Richmond Upon Thames) (Temporary Prohibition Of Stopping) Order 2022

1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that it has made the above named Traffic Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for the purpose specified in paragraph 2. The effect of the Order is summarised in paragraph 3.

2. The purpose of the Order is to enable Thames Water Investigation works to take place on Upper Richmond Road West and to enable Thames Water Remedial works to take place on Clifford Avenue.

3. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any vehicle from:

(1) stopping in the Loading/ Unloading and Disabled Persons' Vehicles Bay outside Nos. 270 to 274 Upper Richmond Road West;

(2) stopping in the Loading and Unloading Only Bay outside Nos. 371 to 377 Upper Richmond Road West;

(3) stopping in the Parking and Disabled Persons' Vehicles Bay outside Nos. 377 to 381 Upper Richmond Road West;

(4) stopping in the Loading/ Unloading Only Bay opposite Nos. 113 to 115 Clifford Avenue.

Order will be effective from 8:00 PM on 26th September 2022 until 4:00 AM on 27th September 2022 for article 3 (1) to (3) above only and from 9:00 PM on 27th September 2022 until 5:00 AM on 28th September 2022 for article 3 (4) above only or when the works have been completed. The prohibition will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
4. The prohibitions will not apply in respect of:

(1) any vehicle being used for the purposes of those works or for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(2) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a person authorised by Transport for London.
