Jay Hogarth: His only involvement in the first half was when he had the ball at his feet. In brief moments of Celtic pressure, he showed composure to play. Rarely called into action. 6

Adam Devine: Clipped the post after an impressive first-half in which his strong runs down the side of the right made an impact. Won his duels defensively and remained tight with the opposition winger. 7

Leon King: Lead a disciplined and compact defence and was calm on the ball to step out of defence. Kept his distribution simple and swept up any balls that targeted the space behind the backline. 7

Kyle McClelland: Aggressive and assertive, McClelland played into the feet of Weston on more than one occasion, mirroring the Goldson to Morelos ball which often proves so profitable. 7

Robbie Fraser: Formed part of a very well-oiled left-sided triangle, going beyond when needed and dealing with Karakmoko Dembele comfortably. Played a superb, curved ball around the side of the defence for the third goal. 8

Murray Miller: Miller was everywhere off the ball, helping to condense the space wherever Celtic tried to attack and snapping into tackles. Kept it simple in possession and when the opportunity arose he counterpressed successfully. 8

Cole McKinnon: Made some intelligent and well-timed seam runs down the side to open up space which McCausland and Weston could subsequently attack. Like the rest of his midfield, provided a platform for clinical attacking play with his workrate out of possession. 8

Charlie McCann: Probably the best performer behind Lowry, looked a step above and won his duels impressively. This was particularly evident as Rangers scored a second, McCann won the ball back and moved play quickly to release his teammate. 8

Ross McCausland: Got proceedings off to the best possible start after just 18 seconds when after taking a chance, the winger intercepted a pass and finished beyond the keeper. Could have displayed better decision making on another couple of occasions, also went close to a second goal after a Lowry through ball. 8

Tony Weston: His pace caused the visitors constant issues and matched up with intelligent movement, a goal at some point felt inevitable. The forward took his goal expertly, waiting for the keeper to commit himself before finishing into the far corner. Also took the ball into feet on occasion. 8

Alex Lowry: The best player on the park by a mile. Played one sublime early pass through the defence on the half volley that set the tone for the remainder of the game. Regularly created attacks from deep positions, out-foxed his markers and rounded off a superb individual showing with his 25-yard stunner. Regular first-team minutes can’t be far away. 9
