Jon McLaughlin: Could do little about the goal as it was flashed in from close range. Perhaps lacked some ambition with his distribution and was too quick to release it long. Made a couple of strong stops in the second half that spared Rangers' blushes. 7

James Tavernier: Involved in a lovely combination on the right as he has trademarked over his Ibrox career, before picking out an inch-perfect pull-back for Colak to equalise in the first half. Improved against the rotating cast of PSV down their left-hand side in the second period. 6

Connor Goldson: Handled the physical presence of De Jong when PSV went direct in the early exchanges. Perhaps didn’t cover himself in glory for the concession of the opening goal. Played the perfect mind games with De Jong as the forward was booked for a tug of his shirt in the second half. 7

James Sands: Covered the space in-behind Goldson really well when required. Composed on the ball and rarely forced any pass that weren’t on. Improving each game as a central defender in Europe. 6

Borna Barisic: Threaded a gorgeous through pass into Tillman in space in the first half that underlined his capacity to play forward with purpose. Guilty of some lax defensive moments but he was invariably bailed out by his teammates. 5

John Lundstram: Always aware of what was going on around him, playing a couple of gorgeous round-the-corner passes. Strong physically in duels and took the ball in deep areas where he could have been easily pressed. 7

Steven Davis: Moved in unison with Lundstram in midfield to open up spaces down the outside of PSV’s midfield. Executed a supreme first time pass to release Tavernier for the leveller, the type of ball that no other Rangers midfielder can play consistently. Tired in the second half. 7

Malik Tillman: Responsible for Rangers’ first sighting of goal in the 20th minute. Was found with increasing regularity in the left half-space as the first half wore on. Guilty of holding onto possession too long on a couple of occasions, but he was playing directly against the excellent Ibrahim Sangare. 5

Tom Lawrence: Had to be sharp defensively on the right-hand side with Cody Gakpo taking Tavernier infield. Picked up some really good spaces in the first half and he was involved in the lovely move which created Colak’s goal. His dipping free-kick prompted PSV's goalkeeper into a huge error. 7

Ryan Kent: Set his stall out early with an early delivery off a dribble. Excellent at coming inside and spreading play to the opposite side, but lacked his usual influence on these European nights. Clearly lacking his usual sharpness after injury. 5

Antonio Colak: Supreme finish that rounded off a terrific move down the right from Rangers, making it four goals in his last four games. His lateral movement across the backline was the best it has been since arriving at Ibrox. 8

Substitutes

Scott Wright: Had a sighting of goal when he received inside shortly after the second goal, but he couldn't make anything of it. 5

Glen Kamara: His assurance in possession helped replace the fatigued Davis. 5
