GIOVANNI van Bronckhorst has confirmed Rangers midfielder Tom Lawrence will miss tomorrow's Old Firm match through injury.
And the manager does not expect him to be back before the international break late in September.
The midfielder, 28, went down late on against Ross County at the weekend.
Van Bronckhorst had played down concerns regarding an injury in his post-match press conference but confirmed this afternoon that problems arose the day after.
“Tom is not available for tomorrow," van Bronckhorst said.
"Unfortunately he had more problems the day after the game last week which means he will be out. I don’t expect him back before the international break."
Rangers travel to Celtic Park tomorrow afternoon for the first Old Firm match of the season.
