Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronchhorst held his hand up to the Rangers support as a gesture of apology after watching his team thumped by Celtic.
Ange Postecoglou's side ran out 4-0 winners as their bitter rivals had no answer to the intensity and passion of the hosts.
A Liel Abada double either side of an exquisite Jota finish put Celtic on easy street before Jon McLaughlin provided David Turnbull with a gift late on.
Rangers were never at the races throughout and looked beaten by a better side on the day.
And van Bronckhorst headed over to the away support in an apparent effort to apologise after the 90 minutes came to a close.
The manager said he was "very disappointed" by the result after the match which he admitted was a repeat of a 3-0 defeat at Celtic Park in February.
