Napoli warmed up for their visit to Ibrox on Tuesday with a last-gasp win over Spezia.

The 1-0 victory was sealed by an 88th-minute strike by Giacomo Raspadori.

It means Napoli remain at the top of the Serie A table, a point clear of Atalanta as they continue to impress under Luciano Spalletti.

Spezia had kept the Partenopei at bay brilliantly despite numerous chances with Georgian superstar Khvicha Kvaratskhelia running the show. They came into the action more in the second 45 but were undone by a late moment of brilliance by former SassulHGo man Raspadori.

The Campania side are in stunning form having already thrashed Liverpool 4-1 in the Stadio Diego Maradona last week.

They head to Glasgow full of confidence, a situation far removed from the one at Ibrox after two 4-0 defeats on the bounce.
