Every Rangers player rated from the 2-1 victory over Ross County at Ibrox.

Jon McLaughlin: Spoiled his performance with a calamity in dealing with a ball into the box. Not for the first time this season, the experienced keeper was caught in no man's land at a cross and Jordan White profited with an easy header. If he had stayed on his line rather than coming and missing the ball, it would have been a simple save. Nearly had another disaster, a carbon copy of the first, in the 91st minute. The goalkeeper position continues to be an area of major concern that will have to be rectified in the summer. 4

James Tavernier: Showcased his ability to defend the goal with a very important early block that stifled a County break. Moments later Malik Tillman found his incisive run but the captain blazed over the bar. Kept his team pushing forward and was always looking to give an option on the right flank. Booked late on. 7

Borna Barisic: Some delicious deliveries throughout but was a bit wasteful in his shooting, blazing two decent opportunities over the bar without challenging the keeper. Made amends when his free-kick hit the net with 15 minutes remaining. The Croat was fortunate given a wicked deflection but nobody in Ibrox was complaining after a nervy nine-minute period after White's equaliser. 7

Connor Goldson: He's made a huge difference since returning from injury, adding leadership and solidity to the back line. His long passing keeps getting better and better. One pass for Fashion Sakala was genuinely jaw-dropping in its accuracy. 7

Ben Davies: Strolled through the game. His partnership with Goldson continues to solidify. Like his partner, he's capable of the long or short pass and moves the ball quickly out of defence. He may not be a physical monster like Filip Helander or Leon Balogun but the Englishman is very suited to games like this. 7

Ryan Jack: Neat and tidy in the middle, covering Tavernier's forward runs and rarely, if ever, giving the ball away. Quietly did the dirty work, allowing the creative players to get on the ball and make things happen. 7

John Lundstram: Taken off with less than 10 minutes on the clock with what looked like an ankle injury. The big Scouser went down without challenge and looked in discomfort as he left the pitch. Michael Beale will hope he's back sooner rather than later but it didn't look great. 3

Todd Cantwell: Hit the top of the woodwork with a controlled shot from the edge of the box after 13 minutes. There's more to this lad the fancy side of the game, did a power of work in midfield, nicking the ball back on more than one occasion. Created the opener with lovely quick feet to slalom past a challenge in the box and send in the perfect cross for Tillman. Looks a perfect signing for Beale's style of football. 8

Fashion Sakala: The Gambian never stopped running at the Highlanders with his usual direct style but it wasn't an afternoon where it was very effective. There are low blocks and then there was what Malky Mackay employed here and that strategy left little space to run into. Booked for a late challenge with half an hour to go and quickly taken off for Kamara. 5

Ryan Kent: After a slow start, he burst into life after 35 minutes with a mazy run across the box. His backheel brilliantly teed up Tillman but the American's shot was blocked. Found Morelos with a pinpoint cross just after the opening goal but the Colombian couldn't deliver the finish. Hit the crossbar with a stunning 25-yard strike as Rangers pushed for a winner. Set up Morelos with a genuine sight of goal with a measured reverse pass. 7

Alfredo Morelos: Full of hustle and bustle but no end product today. Went close with a flashing header across the goal midway through the first half. For the second game at Ibrox in a row, a deft layoff led to a goal, highlighting the importance of his link-up play. He should have scored when put through one on one against Laidlaw but shot straight at the keeper. Booked for an ill-advised challenge with nine minutes left that looked born of general frustration. 6

Substitutes

Malik Tillman: Looked on it from the second he arrived on the pitch. Powered forward at every opportunity and got his reward with a lovely headed finish just before half-time. Like Cantwell, turned over the ball several times with well-judged tackles high up the pitch. It's obvious now but Rangers MUST secure this boy's future. 8

Glen Kamara: Brought on with 27 minutes left in place of Sakala. 5

Nicolas Raskin: Brought on for a nine-minute cameo. Was involved immediately and looked very bright, snapping into tackles and pushing forward. Like Cantwell, he looks like he's going to be a lot of fun to watch. 6

Scott Wright: On for Cantwell in dying embers. 2

Antonio Colak: Replaced Morelos for the last nine minutes.  2
