Philippe Clement will be boosted with the imminent return of both James Tavernier and Leon Balogun although it remains to be seen if they'll be fit to feature.
The team that started against St Johnstone on Sunday will likely remain the same barring any knocks.
The re-introduction of Danilo was a welcome one against the Premiership's basement boys. Rangers simply look more threatening and fluent when the Brazilian and Hamza Igamane are on the pitch together. Not to mention, he has good chemistry with Vaclav Cerny.
One would assume Tavernier will be desperate to return to the starting line-up and he would certainly be a better option than Ridvan Yilmaz who has had a poor string of games since his impressive showing against Celtic. Another option could be Leon King being drafted in for the Turk. The fact is, if the Rangers skipper is fit enough to start, he plays.
Another possible change that Philippe Clement may think about is bringing Connor Barron back into midfield. The former Dons man hasn't been in the best of form of late but a start against his old club may just ignite the fire in his belly to show why he was brought to Ibrox in the first place.

The returns of James Tavernier and Leon Balogun may not change Philippe Clement's plans this midweek. Given that the trip to Old Trafford comes next Thursday evening, both bits of news are more than welcome for the Belgian boss. It is now a matter of how he reintroduces the duo back into his defensive line.
The visit of Aberdeen is likely to be too soon for both to start. In that case, the same back four will get the nod. Indeed, the same team that beat St Johnstone at the weekend should be backed to go again and extend the lead over the Dons. Clement did not provide an update on Jack Butland and Dujon Sterling on Tuesday afternoon.
Clement has options right now as the likes of Connor Barron and Oscar Cortes look to force themselves into the team but those that have been the mainstays of the side of late deserve to keep their spots. Both of those players will have a role off the bench. Midfielder Bailey Rice merits a spot alongside them on the sidelines.
