Derek McInnes says Youssef Chermiti will undergo a scan tomorrow after he was stretchered off at Ibrox.

Chermiti, 22, was taken off in the first half of his side's 2-1 defeat against Hibs at Ibrox, which leaves Derek McInnes still searching for his first win as manager after three attempts.

Hibs took the lead from the penalty spot through Josh Campbell following a contentious VAR call before a late Miguel Chaiwa goal levelled things up.

But Callum Wright would earn all three points for David Grey's side at the death when his shot, following a counterattack, trickled into the net after a deflection.

Earlier today, the Rangers Review exclusively revealed that the club had a £22 million bid for Youssef Chermiti after Galatasaray launched a move to land the striker in a club-record deal.

The Rangers Review understands the Turkish giants made an approach over the weekend in an attempt to strike a deal for the Portuguese forward.

Work is ongoing to add to Derek McInnes’ squad this summer and the Rangers Review reported this morning that another round of talks will be held with PSV Eindhoven as Rangers look to clinch the signature of winger Couhaib Driouech. The Moroccan would become the tenth arrival of the window should he put pen-to-paper at Ibrox.

Chermiti scored 15 goals in 41 appearances following his £8million move from Goodison Park. He was the subject of a £13million approach from Fenerbahce in the January window and it is understood that Rangers have halted the advances of several clubs already over the course of the summer as attentions are focused on building a team to deliver silverware this season.

McInnes said, discussing the club rejecting a bid for Chermiti: "The bid was rejected, which we were delighted about, even though it was a big number. "He planted his foot and felt the impact from the challenge."

On his injury, McInnes added: "He's left in a boot and his knee in the brace; we'll get him scanned tomorrow. Hopefully we have some luck on the scan tomorrow.
