Kris Boyd's Sky Sports punditry japes continued today after he hailed Celtic fans for their "all the best in Seville" massage as he jokingly suggested Hoops fans had produced beach balls and inflatables to wish the Ibrox club well in their semi-final decider on Thursday.

Despite watching his beloved Rangers draw 1-1 at Parkhead, a result that gift wraps the Hoops this season's title - he couldn't resist a joke about his old team's recent Europa League success.

Rangers need to win at Ibrox against RB Leipzig to head to the final of the Europa League in Seville.

And Boyd threw in a bit of trolling to remind the Celtic fans about their rival's stunning European success this season.

The beach balls were, of course, a wind up from Hoops fans over their likely Champions League slot rather than a show of solidarity.

Host Eilidh Barbour giggled at Boyd's antics as James McFadden asserted that Rangers still had a big match to win before reaching the final.

Boyd said in jest: "In a match where you don't usually see a lot of respect from both sets of fans, I've got to say it's fantastic from the Celtic fans today, coming out and respect with the beach balls and inflatables wishing Rangers all the best in Seville.

"Hopefully, that's the case, fair play to them. Fantastic."
