Tom Lawrence was talking to Rangers TV after the 2-1 victory over Livingston. Here's what he had to say.

How did you find that this afternoon?

It was a tough game. We knew that before the game and then to concede so early on it was disappointing but then the second half showed the character and resilience of the boys.

Was that something you've found since arriving at the club?

Yes, I think you can see that with the subs that came on today. They have helped us win the game. We are a tight group and they have welcomed me really well. We just need to keep winning now.

Seeing the number of fans here, did that give you a taste of what this club is like?

Yes, they give you a massive boost. I'm sure they will travel home and away and it's amazing to play in front of them.

What did you make of Scott Arfield and the other subs who came on and made an impact today?

That's what the boss wants. Everyone competing for places. We have shown such a high level early in the season and we are determined to carry that on.

How determined were you to get the three points?

Any game, no matter if it's the first or the last we want to win. That should be our mindset moving forward.

Tuesday will be your first taste of Champions League football?

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. We need to play better than today and I'm sure we will be fine.

Does today give you something to build on?

One hundred percent. We didn't show our quality like we should have done. Second half we showed our character and resilience but we look forward now and each game that comes, we look to put a performance on.
