Rangers winger Ryan Kent will miss the Champions League third-round qualifier with Union Saint-Gilloise tomorrow night.

The winger's status has been the subject of rumours all day and the Rangers Review now understands he is not available for the match in Leuven.

The Englishman didn't travel to Belgium this afternoon after picking up an injury. He was seen to take a knock towards the end of the match with Livingston on Saturday.

While the injury comes as a blow, it's not thought to be serious with the match simply coming too soon for the star.

It's a blow to Giovanni van Bronckhorst given the Englishman's generally superb form on the continent.

It does open the door for someone else to step up with Fashion Sakala, Tom Lawrence and Rabbi Matondo all capable of filling in on the left flank.
