Rangers match winner Antonio Colak has praised the 'amazing' team spirit within the squad after the Ibrox side's qualification for the Champions League.

The Croatian got the only goal of the game as the Light Blues beat PSV Eindhoven in Holland.

It was his sixth goal since arriving in Glasgow as he's thrived in the absence of Alfredo Morelos.

"It's difficult to describe with words. It was amazing teamwork. How we defend and attack and press during the 90 minutes meant we deserved the victory," he told BT Sports.

"It will be an amazing journey this year, and I am so proud.

"On the pitch, I was in tears. It is just a moment of joy and happiness.

"It was always a dream for me as a kid to compete at this level.

"Now I am here with Rangers, who are the best team in the world, and I just want to compete in this competition."

The 28-year-old also spoke about the quality of the opposition Giovanni Van Bronkhorst's men were up against and how well he has settled into the club.

He continued: "Yeah, of course, in these stages, you always play against tough opponents.

"We were focused at all moments, from the goalkeeper to the forwards, and we left our heart on the pitch. I am so proud of the guys."

"I think it is the group. I try my best to adapt to the way of playing and give everything on the pitch.

"I try to help the guys as much as they help me. From the first day, I felt a lot of love and joy from everybody.

"The players and staff make it really easy for me. I am enjoying it here every day, and I just want to continue that way.

He was asked about the absence of top European goalscorer Morelos and whether he is feeling more pressure as the number one striker at the club, but he brushed away these claims.

"No, we are a team. Alfredo is a part of the team, and he will come again," he commented.

"We are all here as a group and will celebrate as a group with the fans. Everyone deserved to celebrate today and with the fans.

"I don’t care. I just want to compete with the best teams. We will see tomorrow and check. We will now have a good drink and focus on the other games because we have a tough schedule, but now we can celebrate."
