Scott Wright was speaking to Sky Sports News ahead of a proposed move to Turkish side Pendikspor.

What would this transfer give you?

It gives me a chance to go and play regular football, I've had conversations with Michael Beale about playing more and we came to the conclusion that it was maybe best for me to move on. The clubs have agreed a fee and I'll go have a look and see what I think.

Is this a step into the unknown?

Definitely but you've got to test yourselves. It's an opportunity that excites me and one I'm looking forward to looking into.

What will you need to weigh up?

There are plenty of options to weigh up and it's a decision I'll need to make with my family and wife, but it's one I'm looking forward to seeing what's out there and making that decision.

How tough was it to show your best form when not starting?

It's always tough but I don't want to make excuses for myself, it's a fantastic squad at Rangers and I wish them the best. Michael Beale is building a successful squad and we'll see what happens.

How would you reflect on your time at Ibrox if the move goes through?

Absolutely no regrets I've absolutely loved my time there and Rangers will always have a special place in my heart. I achieved some things I dreamt of growing up, playing in Europe, winning the league and Scottish Cup. Definitely no regrets.

To play and score in a Scottish Cup Final, is that what really stands out?

Definitely, it was such a big thing and to do that for the club was such a big thing for me.

Could this move help your Scotland ambitions?

For sure, in this profession, you always want to represent your country. I want to try and get regular football and kick on.
