Bojan Miovski is confident that Rangers supporters will start to see the best of him this term after a match-winning brace he hopes will kick-start his campaign.
The striker inspired Danny Rohl’s side to victory over Kilmarnock on Saturday evening as the visitors earned a much-needed Premiership win. Under pressure following the draws with Falkirk and Dundee United, Rangers emerged from a venue that has been a difficult place for them to play at of late with all three points.

It was an encouraging evening for Rohl as Miovski doubled his Rangers tally for the season with his third and fourth goals for the club. Rohl spoke of the benefits of a heart-to-heart with the North Macedonian in the build-up to the Killie fixture. And the man himself is hopeful there is much more to come as Rangers enter a defining run of Premiership matches.
"Yeah, it feels good,” Miovski said. “I was working really hard behind closed doors. I always say when you work hard and give everything, the goals will come so [to] score two goals, and I hope I will continue that way.
"I didn't have a lot of game time the last year, so I was just trying to find a consistency and to get in shape, to collect more minutes on the pitch, and I'm starting to get that. And of course, I feel better, more sharper on the pitch, and of course, I'll try to keep going.
“Every football player wants to play and spend more time on the pitch. As I say, I didn't have that last year and as I say too, I played three games in-a-row in the starting 11, I hope to keep going.
“The confidence comes with spending more time on the pitch and, of course, to understand the players. We didn't have a lot of time to work on training ground as well, national team, away games, and not a lot of training. So we start to feel the chemistry to understand the movements and these things. So I think I will be good."
Rangers took to the pitch at Rugby Park nine points adrift of Hearts and Celtic in the Premiership title race and with more questions surrounding their likely ambitions for the second half of the season. The next handful of matches will shape those aspirations.
Rohl has not ruled out making a bid to land the title this term. Miovski has seen the support at its most vocal during his six months at Ibrox and knows how quickly the mood can change.
"Yeah, it's a normal thing in every football club if you don't have results, the fans are angry, but that's normal in football,” Miovski said. “We are focused on the pitch and try to improve. It's normal. If you win, you're the best. When you lose you [are not]. It is normal.
"If you win one game, you are for the title race, you lose one game, you are not. There's still a lot of games, to be honest. And of course, we want to be there, but we need to be consistent to collect points.
"Yeah, exactly [we must keep this standard]. Keep clean sheet, score as much as we can, create chances. Of course, if we get chances, we're going to score. It's about consistency."
Rangers remain unbeaten in the Premiership since Rohl was appointed as Russell Martin’s successor as head coach. The upcoming fixtures with Hibernian, Hearts, a double-header with Aberdeen and the Old Firm clash at Parkhead will be a stern test.
Yet Miovski has faith that the German will be able to manoeuvre his side through that defining schedule. Time will tell what Rangers can hope to achieve under Rohl’s guidance this term.
"He's a great coach,” Miovski said. “Great experience. He worked a lot in the past with a great managers. So, of course, he's trying to show us where we can improve.
"We don't have too much time on the pitch because there's a lot of games, but we spend a lot of times in the building, watching videos, or we can improve, and I think we are getting better."
