Every word from Youssef Chermiti's press conference following Rangers' 3-1 win over Celtic, in which he scored a second-half double.

Congratulations, can you just sum up your emotions and your feelings after that one please?

Yeah, of course it was a very good feeling. I'm feeling very good now. Three points, plus a double. It's my first time [scoring two] so it's very good.

What do you feel about our performance and goals that this can do for you? Are you hungry now to kick on and keep yourself motivated and at this level?

Yeah, of course. Since I play football I'm always hungry for this. I want to get more goals. My target is always forward, always look forward. So yeah, that's good.

It's been a difficult start for you. There's been a lot written, a lot said about you. How have you reacted to that criticism that's come your way in the early weeks? Has that fuelled you to do what you did today?

Yeah, as I said on the flash interview, this is what I work for, this is what I dream of. Playing for Rangers is a pressure, but playing for a big club, I love that. I don't really take [criticism] that personally. I think that's normal for a big club. The fans always want the best for the club, so that's normal.

How much more do you think there is to come from you?

I think now I'm getting more confident, I'm getting more involved on the team. As I said before, everyone is helping me in the club, my teammates. I've been out playing for two years, so now I'm getting good. I think I can give more like today.

How important was it for you just to get into a rhythm? As you say, you've had injuries, you've been in and out of the team. You were not playing much, is it just about getting that opportunity of a run of games to get the best out of you?

Yeah, of course. I think a lot of people think 'That player is not good enough', but everyone knows how good is that player. I'm not talking about me, I'm talking about everyone. I think it's about confidence. If one player gets confident, he can play whatever he wants.

How important has Danny Rohl been to you since he came in?

Yeah, very good. He's been very good for me. He's helped me. He tries to protect me every time. He tries to help me every day, correct me, teach me. I think he's been very good.

Is today a sign of things to come from you?

Yeah, of course. As I said before, I'm not saying it's a result of what I've been doing, but I think now I'm getting more confident, I've been playing more, I've got more minutes on the bank.

Is it a sign of things to come, maybe from the team too?

Yes, I think we've been doing well. We didn't start the season as we liked, but now I think we're getting better. It takes on a possibility obviously.

You got a fantastic reception from the Rangers fans when you came off at the end there. How much did you enjoy that and do you feel you'll be able to feed off the positivity that they give you going forward?

Yeah, as I said, this is normal in football. Sometimes fans give you hate, sometimes they give you love. It's normal in football because they are fans. I understand that and I love that. Even when sometimes they can go wrong, this is football.

You mentioned the title. What makes you think you can win the title? Talk a little bit about that, about your chances of actually going all the way?

The quality of the team, I think. The quality of the team. I know what we can do, so if we keep going like this, we're going to think about the title of course.
