Danny Rohl has hinted that John Souttar dropping to Rangers' bench for today's cup tie with Celtic is not down to a niggle.
After captaining the side in the first game of the derby double header, Souttar is not in the XI for today's Scottish Cup quarter-final, replaced by Nasser Djiga who partners Emmanuel Fernandez at centre-back.
It would appear that the change isn't down to any injury concerns though, with Rohl insisting Djiga deserves the chance to play.

He told BBC Scotland: "Nasser comes in. Nasser trained really well, showed some good performances in training and deserves to play."
Asked if defensive frailties in recent games played a part in the decision, he added: "We defend as a group, as a team, it's not about a single person.
"Today I give Nasser the opportunity to play in such a game. Since he came back from AFCON, he has trained well and deserve to play."
