Ally McCoist is the best co-commentator in the game - this is not news.

But even by Super's high standards, last night's work commentating for Scotland on Sky takes the art to a new level.

McCoist's emotionally supercharged reaction to Scott McTominay's last gasp winner for Scotland against Israel went viral as the emotion of the moment was perfectly captured by the former Rangers and Scotland legend's unfiltered reaction.

He spoke for a nation. Here is every word, in all its glory:

"Oh come on, listen to this place.

"Absolutely brilliant Ian (Crocker). And do you know what, it's no more than we deserve!

"Absolutely tremendous, absolutely magic.

"The delivery in from (John) McGinn is superb and look what it means to (Scott) McTominay.

"I don't even know who scores it.

"It is McTominay, off his chest.

"Brilliant, he's onside, he continues his run, just get it over the line, he got it over the line. Brilliant.

"Great header. Jack Hendry, brilliant header pal. And that's what you want.

"I tell the kids all the time, 'hang about the back post, you'll always get goals'

"There you are. Get in!"
