NIKOLA KATIC broke down in tears after netting his first goal since his horror time out with injury.
The Rangers defender, who is currently on loan at Hajduk Split in Croatia, had been out for 14 months with a knee injury.
But last night he bounced back in style as he netted his first goal since his header against Celtic almost two years ago.
Katic nodded home the second goal in a big win for his side over Zadar and he was visably emotional as he celebrated.
Speaking after the match, he said: “Back scoring headers. Life is great!
“Every game means a lot to me, whether it is a friendly or the Champions League, it is important to score in the third league as well.
“And that I can progress after day-to-day rehabilitation. Everything was good and I am satisfied.”
The Croatia centre-back has made 59 appearances for Rangers since joining from NK Slaven Belupo in 2018, but missed the entire campaign last year due to injury.
