JOE ARIBO, Leon Balogun and Calvin Bassey could potentially miss up to FIVE Rangers games later this season due to their international commitments.

Early next year, the Gers trio are set to take part in the Africa Cup of Nations with Nigeria.

The continental tournament starts at the turn of the year on January 9.

The final is scheduled for February 6.

In that period Rangers have three fixtures on the cards. They will face Livingston at Ibrox on January 26, away to Ross County on January 29 and at home to Hearts on February 5.

The fourth round of the Scottish Cup is also due to be played on the weekend of January 22, with Rangers and the rest of the Premiership sides entering at this stage.

If Nigeria make it all the way to the final, it's probable all three players will need some time off to recover, almost certainly ruling them out of the next game too at home to Hibs on February 9.

The first knockout stage runs from January 23-25, with the quarters from 29-30 and the semis a few days later on February 2-3.
