RANGERS eased past Stirling Alion at Ibrox this evening to progress into the next round of the Scottish Cup.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst praised his side for staying alert and getting the job done against their part-time opponents, but they required inspiration from the bench to start the scoring.
Alex Lowry capped his debut with a goal and man of the match display. James Tavernier scored and missed from the spot before Cedric Itten and Fashion Sakala completed the scoring.
