GIOVANNI van Bronckhorst will be without some key individuals when Livingston visit Ibrox this evening.

There's no Alfredo Morelos or Ryan Kent, but the return of Joe Aribo will give the side a welcome boost after Nigeria's AFCON exit.

After a number of squad players were given minutes in the Scottish Cup last Friday, how many alterations will be made to tonight's starting XI?

Expect Allan McGregor, Calvin Bassey and Borna Barisic to all return this evening as van Bronckhorst reverts to a four-man defence.

What happens immediately in front of that quintet will be really interesting. John Lundstram looked good against Stirling Albion and given Aribo's return expect the Nigerian to line up alongside Glen Kamara ahead of the Englishman.

Scott Arfield wasn't involved at the weekend and it seems unlikely he will resume his midfield berth.

In the front three, Fashion Sakala and Scott Wright could support Kemar Roofe. Having turned down an international call up, Roofe will be focused on regaining his form and fitness ahead of the Old Firm next week.

Predicted line-up: McGregor, Tavernier, Goldson, Bassey, Barisic, Lundstram, Kamara, Aribo, Sakala, Roofe, Wright

It’s fully expected that van Bronckhorst will welcome back a number of first-team regulars who sat out Friday’s Scottish Cup rout.

McGregor will return between the sticks with the back four likely to comprise of the familiar Tavernier, Goldson, Bassey and Barisic quartet.

Van Bronckhorst said he would assess Joe Aribo's readiness to play after returning home from Nigeria last night, it's likely he'll feature at some point but probably from the bench.

Kamara should also return to the fold with Lundstram potentially retaining his place alongside the Finn.

With Morelos away on international duty, it’ll be intriguing to see who gets the nod up top. Given he started on Friday night, Cedric Itten is most likely to lead the line with Roofe possibly coming off the bench as the match wears on.

The supporting cast is also debatable. With Kent’s suspension, Sakala may replace him on the left-hand side with Wright on the opposite flank and with Arfield back available for selection it will be either he or Juninho Bacuna who'll start. After contributing two assists against Stirling Albion, the former Groningen man would be deserving of a place in the starting XI.

Predicted line up: McGregor, Tavernier, Goldson, Bassey, Barisic, Kamara, Lundstram, Bacuna, Wright, Sakala, Itten.
