Allan McGregor: A terrible error allowed Ross County back into the game as he fumbled a near-post cross. Proved extra costly as his team found themselves behind just minutes later. Arguably at fault for the home team's third. 4

James Tavernier: Saw most of the early attacks come down his side of the pitch and although his one-v-one defending was generally strong, he allowed his man too much space to cross as County levelled the game. Tested the home keeper with a near-post drive after promising link-up. 7

Connor Goldson: Was guilty on occasion of not speeding up possession but also saw his passing options blocked by County’s front pairing. Was able to create in a couple of moments. A rash clearance led to his side’s second concession. Scored the all-important winner. 6

Calvin Bassey: Retained possession well in early stages and was involved in the build-up to Rangers’ opener. But too often he fell for the traps the home side set and wasted the ball. Really poor defending for the second concession. Looked more comfortable on the ball as Barisic tucked inside during build-up. 5

Borna Barisic: Made a strong interception from a Ross County corner in the opening 15 but his weak clearing header allowed County to launch a quick counterattack soon after they’d equalised to go ahead. His impact offensively was really limited until the second half when a change of shape earned him greater influence. 5

Glen Kamara: Returned to the base of midfield having started higher up on Wednesday. In keeping with recent games, the opposition worked hard to block off passing lanes into the No.6 and he was pressed intensely whenever he did receive with his back to goal. Gave up possession so easily for the home team to earn a late corner they'd equalise from. 6

Scott Arfield: Fit again to play from the start, fresh from scoring a winning goal at Ibrox three days earlier. Made some nice first-time passes as his side started reasonably but his limitations receiving the ball were also exposed as Glen Kamara became marked out of the game. 7

Joe Aribo: Making his first Rangers appearance of the year following his time at AFOCN, his presence was felt within minutes as he strode forward, fed off the movement of Itten and assisted Amad. The strong running and option to progress the ball from midfield have been sorely missed. Rangers look so much better with Aribo in the side. 7

Amad Diallo: Thrown in from the start after arriving from Man Utd in midweek and scored within minutes. His sharp movement gifted an opening goal to finish into following Joe Aribo’s ball across the face. Struggled to impose for the remainder of the half as his team sat too deep but showed flashes of quality on the ball. Came to pass early in the second when he looked electric, earning Rangers their equaliser. A very impressive debut. 8

Cedric Itten: The Swiss forward hadn’t impressed in his previous outing but was entrusted to play the centre-forward role by van Bronckhorst. Good work to feed in Aribo early on who assisted the opening goal. Didn’t really win the physical battles and was hooked for Roofe. 5

Ryan Kent: Having served his one-game suspension the winger made a couple of good early passes in transition but didn’t see much of the ball in possession. Took a couple of efforts from the edge of the area which went close. Struggled to progress up the wing with Barisic not instructed to overlap. 6

Substitutes

Kemar Roofe: Improved the standard after coming on, unfortunate to not score after clipping the post. 6

Fashion Sakala: Introduced onto the right in place of Amad. Went close from a counterattack. 5

John Lundstram: Played the final few minutes. 4
