RANGERS are back in Premiership action tonight as they host Shaun Maloney’s out-of-sorts Hibernian.

The Light Blues will be looking to complete the Edinburgh double after thumping Hearts 5-0 on Sunday.

Rangers face a Hibs side bang out of form under new boss Sean Maloney.

The former Belgium assistant manager is trying to encourage a new style of play that's much more pleasing on the eye than the pragmatism of the Jack Ross era - with little success so far.

But the Easter Road outfit always manage to find another gear when Rangers come calling and tonight will likely be no different.

While Martin Boyle's departure robs them of the electric pace that always troubled the men from Govan, they still have talent in the likes of Kevin Nisbet and Christian Doidge.

Van Bronckhorst's men were so good against Hearts you can't see to many changes. It's a line-up and system that looks perfect for the battle that surely lies ahead at Easter Road.

Ryan Jack is out injured and will be likely replaced by Glen Kamara but Steven Davis wouldn't be a shock selection either, adding personality and experience to the middle of the pitch.

Aaron Ramsey hasn't been signed to sit on the bench but the manager has publicly stated he's not quite ready to start in the engine room.

Scott Arfield had another good performance on Saturday and will remain on the right of the attack.

Predicted line-up: McGregor, Tavernier, Bassey, Goldson, Balogun, Kamara, Lundstram, Aribo, Arfield, Kent, Morelos.

The notable omission from tonight’s team is that of Ryan Jack. It beggars belief why Willie Collum never felt the need to award a foul when the Rangers midfielder was cleaned out by Hearts’ Beni Baningime at Ibrox on Sunday.

Jack aside, the team picks itself after their 5-0 thumping of the Jambos.

The big four stays intact with John Lundstram likely to partner Glen Kamara at the base of the midfield. It's a big call to keep Ramsey and Davis out of the team but the quality of the Scouser's performance means he should remain in situ.

Alfredo Morelos will lead the line with the support cast comprising of Ryan Kent, Scott Arfield and Joe Aribo with Aaron Ramsey expected to feature at some point from the bench again.
