Allan McGregor: Made a good stop from a free-kick and a Kevin Nisbet flick which was straight at him. Quiet that aside from a super late save. 6

James Tavernier: Started the game with a good tempo that led to a quick move earning the penalty – which he struck away confidently. A couple of deliveries that hit Scott Arfield went close to adding another. Excellent assist for the second, spotting a gap and feeding in Morelos. 8

Connor Goldson: Making his 200th appearance in a Rangers jersey, a few of his diagonals hit their target early on. Thereafter he was often forced to step into midfield without many passing options. Defended his area well. 7

Leon Balogun: Stayed tight to his man and won his duels before being forced off through injury. 6

Calvin Bassey: Retained his spot in place of Barisic but had to move centrally after Leon Balogun picked up a knock. Won his battles up against Kevin Nisbet, staying tight to the Hibs forward and driving into midfield on occasion. Comfortable throughout. 7

John Lundstram: His recent showing appeared to tip the scales of public opinion inside Ibrox. Wasn’t quite as forward-thinking as when playing alongside Jack but defended well, doing plenty of dirty work when possession turned over. Can be pleased with his night's work. 7

Glen Kamara: A straight swap for Ryan Jack after the Rangers’ No.8 was forced out through injury. Not as comfortable going forward and it showed on a few occasions as he played safe passes instead of driving on. Moved the ball quickly after the break and looked forward. 7

Joe Aribo: Had a quieter night in midweek than has come to be expected of the Nigerian. Played more to the left and looked to break lines on occasion running behind the Hibs defence. Replaced by Ramsey. 6

Scott Arfield: The 33-year-old set the press emphatically at the weekend, rotating in from a wide starting position on the right. Immediately made that trademark runs off of the shoulder. On two occasions he went close after a Tavernier delivery. Wasn't as effective without the ball leading the press. 7

Alfredo Morelos: Returned with a vengeance against Hearts – assisting one goal, scoring another two and troubling the visiting defence throughout. Started this game in a similar vein, placing his passes perfectly and moving across the pitch with speed. Just lacked the service around the area. That came after the break when Tavernier slid a perfect ball perfectly into the Colombian’s path and with time, he finished superbly. 8

Ryan Kent: Kent’s game looked back to its simplified best as he turned provider twice on Sunday. Made an impact early on when he skipped beyond Paul McGinn and earned a penalty. Was doubled up on without a regular overlap which hampered some of his attacks. Almost added a third near the end and also went close in the opening 45. 7

Substitutes

Borna Barisic: Was applauded onto the pitch making his first appearance since a tricky night at Celtic Park. Looked inexpressive on the ball and made a really poor foul to be carded soon after arriving. Final ball also lacked the quality he undoubtedly possesses. 5

Fashion Sakala: Made an immediate impact as he ran in behind and flashed a ball across the face of goal. 5

Aaron Ramsey: Still not fit enough to play from the start, the Welshman was given another 20 minutes. 5
