Giovanni van Bronckhort will work with Borna Barisic to help him overcome his sudden Rangers form dip.
The Croatian was subbed at half-time after a nightmare first half in the 3-0 defeat by Celtic.
Calvin Bassey has been the first pick on the left flank in the two games since but Leon Balogun’s injury just 14 minutes into last night’s game with Hibs meant he was thrown back into the fray.
While he found his feet as the match went on, it was far from a convincing display and van Bronckhorst acknowledged the player will receive internal support.
He said: “For Borna, the [Old Firm] was a difficult game but those are difficult moments that will happen in your career so the only thing we have to do is give him the confidence and help him.
“It’s not easy because you see he had to come on in a split second which is always hard without a warm up but I think as the game progressed, he started to get into it better.
“He’s one of our players, we support him and the players support him also to get the performances he needs.”
