JOE ARIBO has established himself as a key player under Giovanni van Bronckhorst - but insists he's been off the boil.

The Nigerian international is a regular starter at Ibrox and was hugely impressive in the opening period of the season.

However, he reckons his form suffered a "dip" since returning from the winter break.

Aribo notched six goals and six assists in the first-half of the season in Rangers colours but has only managed one of each since the domestic return.

It's something the midfielder has identified in his own mind as he offered the only solution; hard work on the training ground.

Speaking to the media today, Aribo explained: "For me personally, I have wanted more numbers in terms of goals and assists.

"I've not been at my best compared to how I was before January but in football, you have these dips and forms and I will move past that by working my hardest every single day."

Aribo made 42 appearances in all competitions last season but has already made 41 this term.

And in terms of contributions he looks set to exceed his assists and goals from last term, 15, as he is already on 14 this season.
