GIOVANNI VAN BRONCKHORST has revealed that Aaron Ramsey was forced off against Celtic today due to a hamstring problem.

The Welsh midfielder limped off and was replaced by Scott Wright during the Hampden Scottish Cup showdown.

Ramsey was seen clutching his hamstring as he went down the tunnel and Van Bronckhorst confirmed the injury blow at full-time.

He told Premier Sports: "He had some problems with his hamstring so we need to assess it.

"But of course, I think he has something but we do not know yet what it is.

"He could not play on so that looks like an injury."

Rangers turned the game on its head after falling behind to a Greg Taylor strike in the second half.

Scott Arfield firstly equalised before a Carl Starfelt own goal booked the Ibrox outfit's spot in the Scottish Cup final against Hearts next month.
