RANGERS have stepped up their search for a transfer specialist to boost their scouting department ahead of Giovanni van Bronckhorst's upcoming squad overhaul this summer.

The champions are in the market for a recruitment analyst to join the talent search team that is headed by Andy Scoulding and overseen by Ross Wilson at Auchenhowie.

Boss Van Bronckhorst is expected to make several moves to reshape his squad ahead of the new campaign amid doubts over the futures of a handful of key first team stars.

Defender Connor Goldson is poised to quit Ibrox on a Bosman, while the likes of Joe Aribo, Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos are expected to attract interest from England and Europe.

Rangers are now seeking to bolster their behind-the-scenes staff in preparation for a significant summer of wheeling and dealing as Van Bronckhorst puts his stamp on the group he inherited from Steven Gerrard in November.

An advert for a recruitment analyst - posted on the respected Training Ground Guru site - details the requirements for the post and applicants have until April 27 to make their pitch to join the Light Blues team.

The post states: "The full-time position will be based at the Training Centre, reporting to the Head of Scouting.

"Working in conjunction with the Sporting Director, the Head of Scouting and the club's insights team, the remit of the Recruitment Analyst is to maximise the impact data has on our talent identification process. The aim is to provide contextual insights that support our recruitment process.

"The Recruitment Analyst is expected to work closely with our Lead Data Scientist to manage and interrogate data from various sources. Strong player knowledge is essential, and they should have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. A relentless work ethic, a strong eye for detail and previous experience working in a similar role would be advantageous.

"High-level technical competency is essential, as is an ability to work smartly and proactively.

"The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, modern, digital environment where high pressure and high expectations are normal.

"The Recruitment Analysts should embody personal and professional excellence at all times."
