Former Manchester United star Gary Neville has doubled down on his claim Ibrox has the best atmosphere he ever played in after responding to a Celtic fan's question.

The Hoops supporter responded to a Twitter post that claimed Rangers and Galatasaray had the best dins one the entire continent.

The user asked "Did you miss the games (with Manchester United) at Celtic Park?"

Neville responded: "I did play there. The night I played in the Champions League was nowhere near the night I played at Ibrox. That clear it up?"

Rangers Review:

Neville turned out for the Red Devils against Celtic on a famous night in 2006 when Shunsuke Nakamura's free-kick was enough to claim all three Champions League points and send Celtic to the last 16.

But Neville is clearly certain that his 2003 visit to Ibrox, when a goal from his brother Phil won the game, generated a bigger, more memorable noise.
