SCOTT WRIGHT has backed European talisman Ryan Kent to rise to the occasion and inspire Rangers to the silverware in Seville.
Kent has been an integral part of the Ibrox squad once again this term and has saved his finest performances for the continental stage as the likes of Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have been beaten.
Boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst will rely on Kent as one of his potential match winners at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan as Rangers set their sights European glory on Wednesday night.
And Wright can take inspiration from his fellow forward as the Englishman aims to shoot down Eintracht Frankfurt and lead the Light Blues into the history books.
Wright said: “Razza has taken his game to another level and this season in Europe he has thrived.
“He has had a lot of big performances which, in house, doesn’t surprise us as we see it everyday.
“The consistency he has to his game is certainly something I want to add to mine. He has thrived in the big games and maybe Europe suits him a bit more.
“We knew he is a big player for us and it is a case of getting him the ball and letting him do his thing. We hope he has another big game on Wednesday."
