GLEN KAMARA reckons he found himself in the right place at the right time at Rangers after seeing his stock rise for club and country in recent seasons.

But the midfielder admits he could be tempted to make a move to England or Europe as he seeks to take his game to the next level in the coming years.

Kamara was an integral part of Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side last term as Rangers reached the Europa League final and ended their Scottish Cup drought with victory over Hearts at Hampden.

The Finnish internationalist is contracted to Ibrox until the summer of 2025 but has been continually linked with clubs south of the border and abroad thanks to his fine domestic and continental form.

Boss Van Bronckhorst faces a significant summer of wheeling and dealing to form his squad ahead of the new campaign and Kamara has refused to rule out looking at his own situation in the future.

"When I played against Rangers at first, I thought the level was good, but I wanted to go to England because the level is even better," Kamara, speaking in an interview with former international Tim Sparv on Finnish broadcaster YLE, said of his move to Ibrox three years ago.

"But when I came to Rangers, I realised that the level is really high and that this is the best place to develop.

"I would never say that I wouldn't go and play elsewhere in Europe. I would like to play in the Premier League, but if there was somewhere else that would be good for me, I would go there.

"A lot of my friends have come to Rangers to watch the games. They say they've been to Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool or Everton, but you can't get this atmosphere anywhere else.

"If we win, we can go anywhere, but if we lose, we should probably stay at home.

"At this club, you have to win every match against anyone. If we were playing Real Madrid, the fans would say come on, you have to win. It's pretty cool."
