ALLAN MCGREGOR has reportedly been offered a big-money move to the Middle East.

It's claimed the veteran keeper, 40, has received the opportunity to sign a lucrative two-year deal in the United Arab Emirates.

The Scottish Sun claim an unnamed club have tabled an offer to land McGregor who is currently out of contract.

McGregor was Ibrox No1 last season under both Steven Gerrard and Giovanni van Bronckhorst, but he has taken time to consider his future in the summer.

And the latest report suggests McGregor would be interested in continuing to operate as a first-choice stopper - however finances are not the main consideration.

Quizzed on his future after winning the Scottish Cup, McGregor was coy but admitted he will speak to Ibrox chiefs before making a decision.

He said: "I don't know, I've not thought about it.

"The last few months have been hectic since the last international break it's been games every midweek, we've maybe had one week off.

"We're always focussing on the next game so this is the last game so I've not thought about it.

"I'll speak to the club soon enough and then we'll take it from there."
