RANGERS winger Josh McPake is weighing up a number of possible loan options after working tirelessly over the summer to come back fitter than ever.
The 20-year-old has bulked up over the close season and he returned to Rangers today ahead of a busy campaign ahead.
It remains to be seen where McPake will play his football this term, but Herald and Times Sport understand that the Scottish youth international is currently considering loan deals from England and abroad, as well as clubs in Scotland.
Rangers are said to be hugely impressed by McPake’s attitude and work ethic over the summer and are keen to see his progress this campaign, with two years still remaining on his current Ibrox contract.
Despite his young age, McPake has already racked up over 60 senior appearances following loan stints at Dundee, Morton, Harrogate Town, Morcombe and most recently Tranmere Rovers.
The youngster updated fans on his progress over the summer as he shared a number of pictures and videos from sessions with personal coach Nico Carrillo at Commando X-Fit gym in Glasgow.
McPake’s season was cut short last term after picking up an ankle ligament injury that ruled him out last season's run-in.
