RANGERS have rubbished claims an £8million bid has been tabled for Alfredo Morelos.
Reports from Spain claimed the La Liga side had submitted an official offer for the striker.
Morelos, 26, has just one year remaining on his Ibrox deal - but as of yet the Ibrox club say they have not received a bid from Sevilla.
It's understood even had an official bid have been submitted then it would have been rejected with Ibrox chiefs believing the fee is wide of what they're looking for.
The Rangers striker has never shied away from discussing a big-money move away from Ibrox and he has revealed that he would like to test himself in an elite European league.
We told earlier this week how Besiktas were also linked with the 26-year-old, with some reports suggesting the Turkish outfit were in talks with Rangers.
Morelos was cruelly ruled out of the run-in last season after picking up a thigh injury. As a result he missed both the Europa and Scottish Cup finals.

I’m told Sevilla have NOT bid for Alfredo Morelos.
Suggestions coming out of Spain were that an €8m bid has been submitted but this has been emphatically denied.
