ALFREDO MORELOS has vowed to prove his doubters wrong in a defiant social media message.

The Rangers striker has insisted he will "go against" those who may doubt he is going to make it.

Morelos is back involved at Ibrox after being dropped by Giovanni van Bronckhorst earlier this season over fitness and commitment concerns.

The Colombian forward had been dropped from the squad that travelled to take on PSV Eindhoven but has since returned to action under Van Bronckhorst.

And Morelos has taken to Instagram to vow to prove any doubters wrong as he shared an image of himself playing for Rangers in the Champions League.

The caption translates to: "I will go against all those who think that I am not going to make it, even against me if someday I come to doubt it."

Morelos didn't start last weekend in the win over Dundee United with Van Bronckhorst admitting he's aiming to ease the load on the striker.

But he confirmed Morelos is continuing to improve his fitness. Van Bronckhorst said: "Morelos started on Wednesday, I expect a different game today in the way the game is going to be played.

"Colak is fit and we have to look still (to ease) a little bit the load from Morelos but he's looking stronger than he was a couple of weeks ago but decided to start with Antonio."
