RANGERS B are out of the SPFL Trust Trophy.
Hamilton Accies ran out 3-0 winners in their third round tie.
Alex Lowry was included in the starting XI for David McCallum's side, with Giovanni van Bronckhorst revealing in his press conference today that he wouldn't be involved in first team action against Hearts.
The talented teen would miss a penalty in what was ultimately a bad night for Rangers' young guns.
His spot kick left the Accies keeper helpless, but the strike clattered off the post.
The Championship side earned the victory thanks to a double from Dario Zanatta and penalty of their own, tucked home by Reegan Mimnaugh.
Accies will now take on Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the fourth round next month.
