SEAN DYCHE and Michael Beale have been installed as the 4/1 joint favourites with bookmaker Coral to become the next permanent Rangers manager.
Former Gers boss Steven Gerrard is 8/1 for a return to Ibrox, while Ralph Hassenhuttl is 10/1 to take up the position.
“Sean Dyche and Michael Beale lead the race for the vacant Rangers job, according to our betting. Both men have proved popular since we opened betting,” said Coral’s John Hill.
“Steven Gerrard did an excellent job at Ibrox between 2018 and 2021, and he is next best on our list to make a sensational return back to the club,” added Hill.
Rangers confirmed this morning that they were on the hunt for a new boss as they announced Giovanni van Bronckhorst's sacking.
The Dutchman was in charge for just a year and guided the Govan outfit to a Scottish Cup and Europa League final after he took over from Gerrard.
