KENNY MILLER is set to be handed a return to first-team coaching, according to reports.

It's claimed the former Rangers striker could land a job at Huddersfield Town.

Miller, 42, is reportedly in line to join Mark Fotheringham at the Championship basement club.

The Daily Record claim the former Scotland international is wanted by Fotheringham to bolster his coaching staff.

Miller has not been in management or coaching since his departure from Falkirk at the end of the season.

But he could land the sensational move down south in his latest coaching position.

Miller first coached the Rangers under-20 side while he was still a player at Ibrox.

He then went on to work as player-manager at Livingston for a short spell.

After returning to player duties at Dundee and Partick Thistle Miller joined Australian side Newcastle Jets as a coach.

And he would then move to become assistant at Western Sydney Wanderers as he followed Carl Robinson to the club.

Meanwhile, Mark Warburton has urged Michael Beale to carefully consider his future if Rangers offer him the manager's position at Ibrox.

"I think Michael is well aware of the size of Rangers football club," said Warburton when discussing the Rangers managerial search on Sky Sports.

"It's a global institution recognised around the world for the history of the club. It's a fantastic opportunity and Michael will know that.

"He'll recognise the club and have very good relationships within the club established when he was working with Steven.

"Should it come along it will be a fantastic opportunity and very hard to turn it down.
