Ally McCoist has continued to show his love for England midfielder Jude Bellingham after another star showing from the Borussia Dortmund man for England against Senegal last night.

Gareth Southgate's side put in a polished display to win 3-0 and set up a quarter-final tie against France.

Jordan Henderson, Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka were all on the scoresheet, but McCoist was most impressed with Bellingham.

And he talked up the 19-year-old in hilarious fashion this morning as he aimed a cheeky swipe at England teammate Jack Grealish.

On talkSPORT he said: "How good was he last night? I just think he is unbelievable last night.

"I tell you something, I have five boys in the house but if I had five daughters I would probably let him take them all out at the same time. I would.

"I mean he is that kind of boy. With the greatest of respect, I wouldn't let wee Jack Grealish near my granny. Jude, to be be fair, I'd let him take my five daughters out.

"I love wee Jack but he's just too mischievous. Do you know what I mean? I'd let Jude take my daughters out if I had any."

We told how Bellingham described McCoist as a legend before last night's match in Qatar.

He said: "What a legend - he's so funny!

“I love him. Honestly. Every time he is on the radio, I always listen.

“We don’t really get it in Germany so we just get the clips on YouTube and Twitter and stuff and I just find him so funny.

“When he does commentary on the games, it’s way more enjoyable the games somehow. I like him a lot. He’s so funny. I love him.”

McCoist then responded with a message for Bellingham as he wished England good luck for their match.

He said: "Jude, loving your work pal. Really pleased for you and the boys - you're doing really well mate.

"Sorry I couldn't catch up but the very best of luck on Sunday - I hope you do well mate, you and the boys. I'm desperately looking forward to coming up to see you and getting a catch up.

"Good luck - make sure you enjoy it!"
