Michale Beale insists it's a "no-brainer" for Rangers to sign Malik Tillman on a permanent basis - but admitted that's down to those above him at Ibrox.

The Bayern Munich loanee could move to Rangers for good should the club activate a purchase clause in the deal from the Bundesliga giants.

A fee has been agreed between the clubs as part of the loan move, but any possible permanent deal would come down to Bayern sanctioning a sale.

For Beale, a deal to make Tillman a Rangers player is a simple decision as he revealed his hope of having the American at the club for years to come.

Quizzed on a transfer move to keep Tillman at Rangers past this season, Beale told BBC Sportsound: "Malik is a no-brainer for me. I would like Malik to be here for a number of years.

"I think he is an excellent young player and he's enjoying his football here.

"Again, that's for the people above me to organise."

Beale previously said of Tillman: "Bayern have a decision whether they feel he’s going to play for them.

"There’s a number, we know what it is and we’re comfortable with the number.

"Also, we wouldn’t just want to buy a boy that maybe wants to be elsewhere."

Beale is similarly hopeful that both Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos will remain at Ibrox next season with talks on contract extensions ongoing.

Both players are out of contract in the summer but Beale stated he's keen for the attacking duo to stay at Rangers should club, players and his own desires align.

"Yeah, listen I do," said Beale when asked if he could offer fans any comfort over the duo staying at Ibrox. "There's a couple of things here; there's the players having their ideas, there's the club having theirs and I'm sitting sort of navigating through both.

"I think everyone knows my relationship with Ryan and Alfredo is really, really strong. I think they have both been here a long time and if they chose not to be here that would be on them.

"I would like them both to remain but that has all got to fit in with their plans and the clubs plans as well in terms of those players.

"I think they conversations are still to be had and are ongoing."
