Malik Tillman has been ruled out for the remainder of the season through injury, Michael Beale has confirmed.

The midfielder picked up a hamstring strain on Sunday against Celtic and was visibly upset as he received treatment at Hampden.

Beale said: "Malik Tillman has performed well for the club but he will be ruled out for the rest of the season due to injury.

"Borna Barisic will miss the game at the weekend, Ryan Kent has had a few issues so we will continue to monitor him."

As a result of the injury the Bayern Munich loanee may have played his last game for the Ibrox club, with his future currently up in the air.

Beale has spoken previously about his hopes of making Tillman's deal permanent, but it remains to be seen if he will opt to stay in Glasgow.

Beale continued: "Malik Tillman has been great for the club - if he wants to be here in Glasgow then that is something we would like to have further conversations on."

Meanwhile, Beale also updated on the futures of Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos.

The attacking duo are out of contract in the summer and both look set to leave the club for pastures new.

Beale said: "They've been two fantastic players for the club. Both have represented the club very well, been important players for a number of years.

"In terms of their situation there is nothing to speak about really big outside other than we've had the conversations inside. We're mutually in the same place of what should happen. We haven't come forward with contract offer and both have been free to speak to other clubs for a while now.

"In terms of the next five games, they're Rangers players and they will continue to be so until anything is announced officially."
