Nico Raskin has eased fears over any significant Rangers injury after he trudged off against Hibs.

The midfielder limped off in the second half after taking a knock to his knee following a collision.

However, Raskin, 22, has confirmed to worry supporters that there is no serious issue.

Having been flooded with messages over his fitness, Raskin shared an update on his Instagram story.

Alongside an action shoot of himself in the warm-up, he wrote: "Nice three points today. Thanks for all the messages, I'm fine."

Michael Beale had confirmed the slight injury after the match as he bemoaned the "strange" clash of knees.

He explained: "Nico is fine, it was a strange one, a clash of knees, it’s touched a nerve.

"He wanted to continue but once he put weight on it he knew right away he couldn’t.

"Let’s hope he’s ok because I thought the midfield three worked really well, it certainly gives Todd and Ianis a real platform to play.

"The one disappointing thing is conceding late on given the preparation and players we had missing, I’ll take that."

Beale, however, was thrilled to see his side storm to victory in the capital after disastrous preparation saw Rangers ravaged by injury.

"The mentality of the group was absolutely fantastic because the preparation couldn’t have been any worse," said Beale.

"We lost Alfredo and Glen in training, Rabbi was on the bench but unable to come on.

"Scott Wright we lost overnight, Arfield came on but was playing through a problem.

"Coming to the game and knowing Hibs’ form I thought it might be interesting because we probably had 12 unavailable."
