Alfredo Morelos had to be hauled back from the Hearts bench in his final appearance at Ibrox.

Furious scenes erupted after Todd Cantwell hit Rangers' leveller before the break.

Rangers forward Morelos had assisted Cantwell's finish and was quickly over to the Hearts bench to celebrate.

Sky Sports broadcast footage captured the moment Morelos darted towards the visiting bench after the equaliser.

And it appeared Morelos was shouting towards someone in the visiting camp in the aftermath of Cantwell's strike.

John Souttar quickly stepped in to drag Morelos away from the sidelines with Leon King also seeking to calm the situation.

Josh Ginnelly was booked in the tunnel as tensions flared after the incident with Sky Sports reporting Steven Naismith and Allan McGregor were also cautioned.

Commenting on the incident, Andy Walker said: "Morelos wants to celebrate at the Hearts bench."

It read: "From the heart of Colombia to the heart of our support. Thank you Alfredo."
